Job description
Join Baxter International as a CWP Online Gateway Installation Technician, responsible for installing, configuring, and deploying the CWP Online Gateway system. You will work with Raspberry Pi hardware, set up secure network connections, and ensure seamless integration with the CWP Online cloud solution. Key responsibilities
Install and configure the CWP Online Gateway on Raspberry Pi hardware.
Prepare and write OS images to Micro SD cards using Raspberry Pi Imager.
Set up and verify network configurations for hospital or company environments.
Edit and manage configuration files (e.g., configuration.xml) for device and gateway settings.
Set up and secure MQTT client connections to the CWP Online cloud.
Integrate and configure various devices (CWP 100, CWP 800, IO Systems, Testomat) with the gateway.
Verify system connectivity and troubleshoot installation issues.

The ideal candidate is a suitably trained technician with experience in hardware and software installation, particularly with Raspberry Pi systems. You should be comfortable working with configuration files, network setup, and secure cloud connectivity. Attention to detail and the ability to follow technical documentation are essential.
Qualifications
Experience with Raspberry Pi hardware (preferably Raspberry Pi 4 Model B).
Ability to install and configure operating systems and software packages.
Familiarity with network setup, including static and dynamic IP configuration.
Experience editing configuration files in Linux environments (e.g., using nano or CLI tools).
Understanding of secure communication protocols (e.g., MQTT over TLS).
Meritorious
Experience in hospital or healthcare IT environments.
Familiarity with device integration (e.g., CWP 100, CWP 800, IO Systems, Testomat).
Knowledge of Beckhoff IO units and sensor integration.
